darkenedspirit (Midgard_OBM) Good release. Inhuman vocals, maximal saturation in the vocals and guitars sound, raw, crude, lo-fi, USBM rules. Atmospheric Raw Black Metal with a sweet and infamous filthy production and Doom Metal elements. Recommended for all fans of dirty Black Metal vomited from Hell.

WHISPERS I was born in a lonesome land And grew in a barren town, But I have seen the poplars shake When the green leaves fluttered down. Strange land, grey land Dreaming your dreams apart; My soul is far too small to glimpse One throb of your mighty heart. But I have sensed the giant pulse Under the ceaseless flow Of the little, crawling people Who blindly come and go. Like a titan whisper in the night: "I dream my dreams," you say, "And a thousand times a thousand years "I count as a single day." THE DREAMS OF MEN From the whispering void unasked they come, Shadows of star and fire Webs of the tenuous moonlight spun Shades of a ghost's desire. Glitter and glory and phantom sheen Mists of a moony lust; Stellar glow in the river's fog, Planets whirled from the dust. Spanning Time and the birth of Time Eerily echoing, Curtaining thrones with a shimmering veil Hazily visioning. Whispering, out of the deeps they come To the sleep-grey minds of men To lead them into the hazy worlds To tread lost ways again. --- White men and red men, breast to breast, In the birth throes of a state, Blind in the gun smoke, slashed and thrust, Screaming mad with the slaughter lust, Grappled and died in the bloody dust, With a frozen grin of hate. The moccasin left a bloody track From shore to mountain crest; From room and beam the red sparks rained; But the plow bit deep and the oxen strained, And the red warbonnets dimmed and waned Into the lurid West. Like dim and ghostly caravan Of painted shapes astride Phantasmal mustangs, pass the years. A crest of plumes each rider rears. With sinking reins and dropping spears The phantom horsemen ride. Scant are the relics Time has left To set men wondering. A flint by careless boot heel spurned. A skull by straining plow upturned. A shattered kiln where once was burned The ransom of a king. -Robert E. Howard
